Honest Ideas is a creative agency based on the Quayside in Cambridge. We deliver a broad range of marketing services: Brand strategy and design, website design and build and advertising, for a diverse range of clients - (80% B2B). We pride ourselves on solid strategic thinking backed by excellent creativity and customer relationships. We are seeking a talented Senior Account Manager to join our team and help us expand our client portfolio and manage existing accounts.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key client relationships and leading strategic marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. Your expertise in advertising and marketing, coupled with your brilliant communication and leadership skills, will be crucial in delivering successful campaigns and achieving client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, understanding their business goals and marketing needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive successful campaigns and run brand workshops.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Coordinate in-house creative and external resources to deliver high-quality work.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients. Use data-driven insights to optimise future strategies.
  • Financial Management: Manage account budgets, including forecasting, invoicing, and tracking expenses. Ensure account profitability through effective financial management.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development. Create pitch proposals with creative teams and secure new clients and projects.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages a high standard of strategic and creative output.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of account experience in an advertising or marketing agency, with a proven track record of managing clients and delivering successful branding projects and campaigns.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in project management tools. Experience with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Attributes: Client-focused, proactive, detail-oriented. strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.
