Senior Account Manager - IT Professional Service

(IT Software and Services - SMB and Enterprise)


We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our forward-thinking and dynamic team, based in Worthing (West Sussex).

  • Salary range: £30,000 – £40,000 Base. Plus on target earnings (commission) £80k Uncapped
  • Full time role
  • Hybrid working available - Tuesdays in the office are essential, the rest of the week can be worked remotely


Prosperon are looking to expand our sales team to support our growth and presence in the UK, Europe and rest of the world. As a Senior Account Manager, your main role is to manage, maintain and expand relationships within your assigned customer base (minimum 40 customer accounts) in the Private and Public sectors, working with SMB’s and Enterprise organisations.


You will also be responsible for identifying and developing potential new business opportunities to win new customer logos.


We are looking for candidates working in a similar environment either as a Value Added Reseller or directly as a software vendor. Due to the seniority of the role, we are also looking for candidates with strong leadership qualities who is coachable, naturally curious, and passionate about educating customers on the value Prosperon provides in IT management technologies.


Our ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and positivity to their role, will be adept at planning and organising, and will feel motivated by reaching their goals and seeing results.


Key Responsibilities


Manage a portfolio of existing customers as well as uncover and develop new customers;

Meet monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets;

Manage and execute the full sales process from inception to win

Maintain and build trusted relationships with end users, decision makers and relevant stakeholders;

Identify customer business needs and goals, and work collaboratively and consultatively to propose solutions and services that meet their needs;

Discuss and present product and service offerings effectively via online and/or face to face;

Maintain accurate, detailed and up to date CRM records across all sales functions i.e. Sales Pipeline and Forecasts; and

Work collaboratively with Sales Manager to initiate, plan and develop sales strategies and campaigns to ensure sales targets and objectives are met.


Essential experience


3+ Years of B2B Sales Experience required;

Experience in selling networking software or other related IT Software (Applications, Infrastructure, Database, ITSM, Security) and/or Professional Services preferred;

Successful track record in IT Software and Consultancy sales, account management and new business acquisition

Professional, persistent and results oriented mind-set;

Passion for technology and possess a high level of integrity; and

Knowledge and usage of CRM and other related applications.

  • £40,000 Basic salary. Plus Commission: OTE – £80k Uncapped

You’ll join our Sales team working every Tuesday in our office in Worthing, West Sussex, and you will play a pivotal role in our business. The rest of the week can be worked remotely.
