Provide advice to a complex client base, manage relationships and learn a variety of technical skills and work on national and international business. About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with a strong background in accounting as well as experience working in a PRACTICE setting. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including financial reporting and budgeting. Responsibilities: Work in the Advisory Team. Interact with and manage clients. Client facing role immediately – meeting with companies over £200 million in revenue, providing and learning accounting advice. Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Learn and implement financial modelling and forecasting. Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Manage a team of accounting professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide strategic financial advice and support to management to help drive business growth and profitability. Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification, or currently studying 4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in UK Public Practice Has FULL working rights in the UK and will NOT require sponsorship Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
