Job Description

Responsibilities European close, consolidation, and reporting. Main contact for the European teams for monitoring the progress of the close and escalating issues Prepare European Balance Sheet reporting on a monthly basis for the Corporate Controllership team based in North America Help prepare European disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K reporting Identify process improvements to refine month-end close and reporting Technical accounting Support the Technical Accounting team with complex accounting matters. You will: Draft memorandums on accounting treatment, Implement processes to accommodate accounting standard updates, Review cross-jurisdictional, intercompany, capital transactions, including dividends, liquidations, M&A Member of the European finance training council, responsible for organising monthly finance-themed training sessions Coordinate the contract review process on behalf of Controllership to ensure accurate accounting assessments and approvals Finance partnering Partner with FP&A and Business teams to manage monthly activities and provide accounting guidance Help close the books of the EA Switzerland entity by ensuring period costs are complete and accurate Host quarterly business updates Project management and other Participate in projects related to systems upgrades, process alignment, and building more robust reporting and analysis Back-up for assigned peer activities Qualifications Technical skills Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite including Power BI Experience with Oracle R12 and Hyperion Financial Management or other similar systems Soft skills Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills Passionate, enthusiastic team player Other qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant financial accounting experience Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent preferable #LI-Hybrid #FlexibleWorkAbout Electronic Arts Everything we do is designed to inspire the world to play.
