Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? Within RBC Europe Ltd you’ll be joining the Corporate Treasury team based in London focusing on Interest Rate risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB). The team is responsible for the production and reporting of IRRBB metrics, analysing IRRBB impacts from banking book products, building out and enhancing corporate treasury execution capabilities and interpreting IRRBB regulations.   Over time, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across other corporate treasury functions such as Liquidity Measurement, Capital, Line of Business focus alongside Governance, Change and Control.   There will be regular engagement with Lines of Business & Corporate Treasury Head Office to ensure alignment of IRRBB across locations. Understanding our business contribution to different teams is key to the success of local Corporate Treasury. What will you do? To perform internal reporting for IRRBB analysis as needed. To build an understanding of IRRBB impacts from banking book products. To support the build corporate treasury execution capabilities. To support communications with internal stakeholders. To contribute to ALCO papers and LCT papers as required. Support delivery of projects. To be fully aware of time criticality of tasks and to organise time to meet deadlines. Maintain, develop and enhance IRRBB reports and tools. Identify areas for self development and training. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Strong data analysis and problem solving skills. Good understanding of IRRBB regulations and their application to business activity Understanding of banking book products. Ability to deliver practical solutions in a demanding, high-pressure, fast paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing day-to-day priorities whilst simultaneously achieving longer term project based deadlines. Motivated self-starter who is keen to learn.
