As a Senior Analyst in our Personalised Interactions Design and Delivery (PIDD) team, you will play a critical role in supporting our technical and data processes. This includes ensuring that our core applications, including Unica, operate as we need them to, our data processes are robust and resilient, and we continuously improve to achieve our personalisation goals. You will have an eye for detail and enjoy working in an environment of process, controls, and governance. You will work with colleagues designing and delivering campaigns and create effective capabilities to meet our demanding campaign objectives and work closely with colleagues in Operations and Transformation to ensure our systems and data are developed in line with the Customer, Brand and Engagement (CBE) strategy.

At Nationwide we openly put our 15 million members at the centre of every decision we make as a business. Every role, no matter what it’s doing, is member focused.

We think every communication and interaction presents a unique opportunity to bring to life our brand promises allowing us to demonstrate our point of difference. This might be focusing on short term campaign activity or how we deliver more longer-term brand building and emotional engagement with our customers, staying relevant at all stages of their lives. Stable, robust, and resilient operational foundations are critical to this. If you are experienced in 1-2-1 marketing, personalisation with a strong data and operations background who can help us optimise our ways of working then we want to hear from you.

Your success isn’t based on how long you spend at your desk. You’ll have contracted hours, but we’re always happy to support flexible working wherever we can. That might mean working from home or different Nationwide offices or agreeing a working pattern to help you balance work and life. We will always strive to find a way that works for everyone.

If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.

What you’ll be doing

This is a busy, interesting, and fast-paced role ensuring that the operational foundations for 1-2-1 communications can be trusted and significantly improved over time. You’ll be working in a lively, supportive team that has accountability for the design, delivery and personalisation of 1-2-1 marketing communications that deliver against our Society KPIs.

You will be a subject matter expert in a small team that will take accountability for all operational processes to support this 1-2-1 activity to enable our design and delivery teams to work as productively as possible. Alongside delivering our critical operational processes, you will have a particular focus on improving how we manage data for personalised campaigns. This could include ensuring data supplied to and produced by the team meets our data governance controls, for example reducing the reliance on ad hoc data feeds, improving data flows and run times.

Critically, as our personalisation and performance strategy matures, you will be a subject matter expert in our exploration of what we could deliver now and in the future, helping shape operational processes and data to achieve new use cases enabling the team to be a Centre of Excellence for interactions design and delivery
