SRG is working with a leading chemicals contract research organisation, who offer a wide range of agrochemical studies to UK manufacturers of biocides and pesticides. Based in the Hampshire area, they have recently started hiring for a new senior member of their analytical team. This job would suit someone with extensive experience working with HPLC and LC-MS in the chemicals industry, preferably in a GLP compliant lab. This is a great opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist looking to make their next step in the chemicals industry with promotion opportunities up to study director level.

Role Description
- Analytical study work with HPLC, LC-MS, LC-MS/MS to identify small and large molecule compounds
- Training and assisting more junior members of staff in analytical techniques
- Developing analytical methods with LC-MS as well as maintaining and calibrating the equipment
- Acting independently and ensuring studies are carried out effectively and within budget
- Adhering to GLP standards and acting as study director in line with GLP regulations
- Working with chemical formulations and related regulations
Requirements
- 5 years method development experience with LC-MS and/or HPLC
- Experience and understanding of working in a GLP compliant laboratory
- Ability to develop analytical methods
- Showing initiative and being able to work independently
- Full right to work in the UK
