Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

The Role:

As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our client's applications. With at least 5 years of experience in application support, you'll bring your expertise to a high-performing team, taking ownership of escalations and serving as the go-to expert for complex issues. You'll also have the rewarding opportunity to mentor a junior team member, helping to shape the next generation of talent in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for business-critical applications, particularly focusing on Dynamics CRM and Azure.
  • Utilize your strong SQL skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Leverage Log Analytics and Application Insights for monitoring, diagnosing, and enhancing application performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to the business.
  • Mentor and guide a junior application Support Engineer, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Infrastructure, providing regular updates and insights into ongoing support operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as an Application Support Engineer, with a strong background in Dynamics CRM and Azure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with experience using Log Analytics and Application Insights.
  • Leadership: Previous experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
