Our values are reflected on how we organise our business, how we build our products, how we interact with colleagues and partners, as well as how we behave in our personal lives:

  • Be Restless: Never stop growing and learning. Strive for excellence and to be your best. Expand your horizons, evolving both personally and professionally.
  • Understand Others: Seek to understand the perspectives, experiences, and emotions of those around you, even if they differ from your own.
  • Read Yourself: Critically examine your strengths, weaknesses, values, and beliefs. Be open to constructive feedback from trusted individuals and understanding how others perceive you.

We are revolutionising the engineering industry with our generative design tool that automatically creates mechanical components that outperform their existing counterparts.

As a Senior Applications Engineer (CFD) you will use our optimisation software alongside other computational fluid dynamics tools to design and analyse components during the entire component lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams made up of software engineers, scientists, and academics to design high-performing software solutions for our customers’ innovative applications, ranging from supersonic aircraft to microprocessors and coffee pots!

What you will be doing:

  • Perform evaluations of our clients to understand their unique goals, limitations, and requirements.
  • Translate these evaluations into tangible product requirements, and work across our technical team to ensure any resulting products meet our customers’ needs.
  • Test and demonstrate our software's capabilities for new applications. This involves setting up, running, and troubleshooting CFD-type problems as well as interpreting the results.
  • Develop new features using our C++ and Python platforms to meet our customers’ needs.
  • Train our customers on our software and work with them to ensure they are always maximizing the value they get from us.
  • Write and revise user documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

A PhD in engineering, maths, or a related field.

OR:

Have a Master's degree coupled with three year’s experience in using and developing CFD simulations in industry or academia.

What can you do?

  • Demonstrable experience writing good code. Ideally this will be with C++ or Python.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand partial differential equations.
  • Be able to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities.
  • Be comfortable communicating clearly and collaborating within a small team to implement new features and resolve existing issues.
  • Be willing to take and give constructive feedback and criticism.
  • Have experience with cloud computing services and HPC, especially AWS.

APPLY NOW to advance your career with a company who believe that success comes from collaboration, innovation and hard work. Let’s defy the status quo.
