This role is located in London or Manchester.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Work with the client asset safety Audit Manager to provide client asset safety specific direction and support across the functionSupport client asset safety specific audit reviews, being responsible for managing certain aspects of the audit from planning, fieldwork, and reporting and issue closureEnsure that client asset safety regulations, risks and controls are appropriately covered in client asset safety relevant auditsSupport the delivery of client asset safety training for the departmentRepresent Internal Audit in client asset safety related projects and committees, as assignedWrite high quality, professionally presented Internal Audit reports and audit findingsUnderstand and apply the Internal Audit Methodology to produce good quality and detailed working papersCarry out other ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by audit senior managementTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Relevant years of experience in client asset safety related rolesUnderstanding of client asset safety regulatory requirementsKnowledge of the financial services industry and its regulations and lawsUnderstanding of custody related products and servicesExperience in an Internal/External Audit, or Compliance Monitoring role preferredStrong analytical skills and attention to detailFluent in English (verbal and written) At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
