Expleo are recruiting for a HVAC Engineer, for a contract role, based in Bedfordshire, to support our global automotive client, in their vision to deliver the most distinct competitive vehicles on the road today.
The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for :-
* The development and system performance planning of parts relating to Climate Systems (HVAC) including HVAC unit, ducting, compressor, IHX, heat pump and control unit
* Project managing all aspects of the development cycle
* Cost and budget management, including benchmarking and investigating cost reduction opportunities
* Validation of system and component performance from test
You will ideally be degree educated in a relevant subject matter, experience gained from working for an Automotive OEM or tier 1 supplier in climate systems, or mechatronics system development, and proven knowledge of automotive design and process experience, is essential to fulfil this role.
In return for your ideas and expertise, you can expect a long-term contract opportunity; a competitive hourly rate with overtime paid at time-and-a-half; free on-site parking.
