Position: Senior Automotive TechnicianLocation: Letterkenny, DonegalJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £27,£32, per year (Salary can be paid by UK or Irish Company, you decide) Please Note: If you are interested in the role but are currently working at Master or High voltage Diagnostic level, please also get in touch to find out more about a package for this level of experience Responsibilities: As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for: Executing work outlined on the job card with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership standards.Coordinating with the parts and service department to procure necessary parts and maintaining effective communication with the workshop manager.Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions and performing repairs with proper authorization.Conducting vehicle health checks and video health checks to identify additional safety or service work.Promptly notifying service advisors of any additional work needed, unnecessary outlined work, or delays in completion.Conducting road tests to ensure the quality of work performed.Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Staying current with technical bulletins and attending training as directed by the Aftersales manager. Requirements:Qualified technicianPrevious experience in a franchised dealership is preferredAbility to complete job card write-ups in accordance with franchised standardsStrong communication skills, both written and oralPrevious experience with Franchised Dealer systems, diagnosis equipment, and modern electronicsFull clean and valid driving licenseSelf-motivated with high-quality standards and a team player Rewards: Our client offers a competitive salary package, including bonus pay, and is committed to providing training and career development opportunities.
