Senior Integration Engineer - Fully remote - Up to £85,000
Burns Sheehan is currently partnered with a leading, London-based insurer who are going through a large tech transformation.
They are now on the lookout for an experienced and hands-on Senior Integration Engineer to build and maintain integrations between 3rd party and internal systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing integration strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee and lead complex integration projects from conception to completion.
- Architect and design scalable and robust integration solutions, considering long-term system sustainability and flexibility.
- Mentor and guide junior integration engineers, providing technical expertise, best practices, and constructive feedback.
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in integration engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and Terraform IaC
- Experience with API design, RESTful APIs, and other integration protocols.
- Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL processes is important for effectively moving and transforming data between different systems.
