Senior Baker / Bakery Team Leader - London

Location: Bermondsey

Full-Time position

40 hours per week + Excellent Benefits

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Baker / Bakery Team Leader with 3 years of professional baking experience, including 1 year in a leadership role, to join a prestigious bakery known for its exceptional bread and pastries.

You will work closely with the executive baker and consultants to enhance and streamline production processes.

You will be responsible for:

1. Conducting taste tests, adjusting recipes, and establishing quality control checkpoints.
2. Overseeing ordering, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
3. Working with sustainable ingredients, minimizing wastage, and promoting eco-friendly practices.
4. Maintaining rigorous quality control, inspecting equipment, and implementing corrective actions for any deviations.
5. Developing training programs, providing hands-on baking instruction, and offering feedback to improve team performance.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Baker in a similar role.
2. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
