Job Description
I am currently seeking a dedicated Senior BMS Training Officer to join a Laboratory Diagnostics organisation based in London. You will join the histopathology team and play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory and the timely delivery of high-quality histopathology services.
You will be responsible for:
- Receive, book in, cut up, process, cut, stain, and dispatch specimens to the highest standards and within agreed turnaround times and participate in specimen dissection as required.
- Lead Senior BMS for Training, overseeing IBMS Portfolios, and supervise MLA’s, MTO’s & BMS’s
- Use and maintain histology equipment in compliance with departmental policies
You will bring the following:
- You must be a HCPC registered BMS Member of Institute of Biomedical Sciences
- You must have worked in histology laboratory environment previously
- Solid knowledge of histological techniques
