Senior Block Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Westminster
Are you a senior block management professional looking to join a company that offers a competitive salary and autonomy over your work?
My client is a highly professional, independent surveying firm, that is looking to add to their team due to the recent acquisition of another business's portfolio. Subsequently, they are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled property professional to help look after their expanding portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their own portfolio of properties, including:
Maintenance of the buildings and communal areas
Liaising with contractors regarding maintenance and major works
Site visits to ensure good building condition
Managing onsite staff, including concierge, cleaners and maintenance
Maintaining health and safety regulations and legislation
Producing and managing service charge budgets across the portfolio
Collecting ground rent
Key skills required:
Significant experience managing a large leasehold portfolio
IRPM Qualification preferred
Strong customer service and communicative skills
Attention to detail
Extensive knowledge of the section 20 process and dealing with major works projects
Strong budgeting and financial management experience
