Job Description

This is a well-established company with over 20 years of running bakeries across England.

Our client has an in-house Creative Studio (within which this role will sit) which was brought about to elevate the brand externally and better communicate the incredible stories they tell. We are on the hunt for a strategic and creative Senior Brand Manager to help build brand awareness, consideration, and propel them towards their mission and vision.

You'll be responsible for translating their strategic vision to real-world touchpoints and ultimately oversee the bringing of the brand to life across owned and earned channels.

You'll support the Head of Brand in implementing longer-term plans to drive key metrics such as brand awareness, consideration, and loyalty.

What you'll be doing...

Strategy:

  1. Support the Head of Brand in the education and advocacy of annual brand plans designed to develop brand growth and own the execution of those at a day-to-day level.
  2. Craft brand-focused comms briefs and review commercial briefs from other business areas to help refine and strengthen them to ensure they are as clear and on-brand as possible.
  3. Create and own a plan for brand reputation monitoring and closely analyze and share these reports with the team to understand how we’re tracking.
  4. Seek out and pull together proposals for new opportunities or channels to explore.
  5. Constantly read around the category and products. Share inspiration with the rest of the team and help them stay informed on what’s happening in the category.

Creative:

  1. Working closely with the Creative Producer, drive the execution of brand campaigns internally and externally across multiple channels.
  2. From receipt of a commercial brief, drive the creation and execution of seasonal content across campaigns that link together PoS, email, app, paid digital, social, PR, activations, etc.
  3. Build and cultivate relationships with partners to bring to life brand and commercial opportunities.

Project Management:

  1. Keep a firm grip on all the admin associated with a project, from setting up the project decks, timing plans, and server folders at the start of the project, to booking in reviews and meetings, and liaising with relevant teams on information/feedback.
  2. Own the details of the Studio’s annual budget, ensuring we’re delivering ROI and maximizing efficiencies wherever possible.
  3. Be the oracle of all project details; people know to come to you with their questions.

You'll have…

  1. Proven experience in a similar role within a brand or creative agency.
  2. Previous food/FMCG/retail/hospitality experience would be an advantage but not a mandate. However, a love of food will get you a long way in this business!
  3. Emotionally intelligent: able to read a room/situation and deal with it positively and intelligently.
  4. Confident in building strong internal and external relationships to ensure we’re able to make the best work possible.
  5. Organized and thorough, able to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
  6. A problem solver: both in day-to-day operations and looking ahead to anticipate future obstacles.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Logistics: Camden office, hybrid
