An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join the Assets directorate. The role
The role is a key part of the newly shaped Asset directorate at the Council, and will directly support the Council’s £350m plus diverse non-operational portfolio holdings. This role will work closely within the newly shaped team as well as building strong relationships across the wider Council. The team ensures that the Council can shape Placemaking initiatives from existing holdings whilst supporting the delivery of wider Council strategic objectives.
You will be working on high-profile projects in our very diverse borough for a commercially minded council which has an emphasis on sustainability. You will be working on a diverse portfolio of assets that includes commercial, industrial, retail, office, theatres, hotels and sports facilities.

About you
We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills, preferably educated to degree level in the building surveying discipline. You should have good working knowledge of Council Services and good knowledge of legislation and compliance within building surveying.
