Senior Buyer - Indirect Procurement for leading Financial Services firm (London) - £40,000-£45,000
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Buyer, specialising in indirect procurement, with this leading provider of financial solutions. Committed to delivering excellence to their clients, this firm are dedicated to innovation, integrity, and collaboration, shaping the future of finance.
As a Senior Buyer for Indirect Procurement, you will play a crucial role in optimising purchasing processes and driving cost-efficiency across the organisation. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement activities align with strategic objectives while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories such as IT services, marketing, facilities management, and professional services.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier relationship enhancements through strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess supplier capabilities, and drive value-added solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. CIPs/MCIPs is beneficial but not a requirement.
- Proven experience in indirect procurement within the financial services industry, or another highly regulated sector, with a strong understanding of market trends, supplier landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within the public sector would be helpful.
