Job Description
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans
- Managing supplier relationships and long lead times
- Analysing and understanding market trends
- Ensuring supply chain efficiency
- Working collaboratively with the procurement and supply chain team
- Driving cost reduction initiatives
- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in the supply chain process
The Successful Applicant
The successful Strategic Sourcing Specialist should have:
- Previously worked in strategic sourcing or procurement position within the industrial/manufacturing industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
- Strong IT skills
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
