Job Description

WHO WE ARE:

White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women’s and men’s clothing as well as beautiful accessories and homeware. Our original prints (all designed in house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive.

Our people are at the heart of our brand, constantly moving and driving us forward. We’re sociable, talented and like-minded and we’re not hierarchical or political in how we do business. We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.

WHO YOU ARE:

An energetic and innovative brand and customer-focused Senior Campaigns & PR Manager. You will have a proven track record in developing brand campaigns that grow awareness and consideration, specifically through above-the-line, social media and PR channels. You will bring a wealth of PR experience (both consumer and corporate), social media, and influencers, with the ability to identify opportunities that shift brand perception and drive increased engagement. You are highly creative, willing to push boundaries, and well-seasoned in getting the best out of internal creative departments as well as building strong agency relationships with superb attention to detail and excellent taste levels.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Campaigns & PR Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will focus on growing brand awareness and consideration, alongside driving stronger engagement with our customers through our brand storytelling. You will lead the end-to-end management of brand campaigns across all advertising channels and manage our PR, social media and brand content plans to increase organic engagement, reach, and new followers. You will work alongside the Channels Marketing Manager to develop and deliver brand campaigns across all channels. This is a great opportunity to help drive White Stuff into its next chapter of growth through stand-out campaigns.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Support the Brand & Marketing Lead and Brand Director to shape and deliver overall brand and marketing strategy.
  • End-to-end management of brand campaigns, tactical promotions, seasonal collections, and product launches across paid and owned channels including organic social media channels, paid digital channels, print advertising, OOH and PR.
  • Work alongside the Channels Marketing Manager to ensure brand campaigns, tactical promotions, seasonal collections, and product launches are executed across channels on time and in line with the overall marketing plans.
  • Manage the marketing calendar and allocation of budgets in alignment with the overall brand and marketing strategy across the year.
  • Manage the critical path for campaigns and launches, including liaising across the business with buying and merchandise teams to gather product information for campaign planning and photoshoots.
  • Support the Brand & Marketing Lead on seasonal briefs and product planning processes for campaigns.
  • Work alongside the Brand & Marketing Lead and our media agency Croud, to develop efficient and effective brand media plans that drive our key brand metrics.
  • Own the Social Media plan for all channels – paid and organic, ensuring it complements the overall Marketing and PR plans, as well as staying up to date with the market and evolving trends.
  • Manage relationships with our corporate and consumer PR and paid media agencies and driving effectiveness with budgets through these channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Content and Creative teams to ensure plans and activities link to the wider brand plan and marketing calendar. Ensuring these are on-brand – leaning on existing activities and channel experts where necessary.
  • Manage and develop our influencer, VIP and content affiliate strategy with the support of our PR agency - from gifting to contracting new partners with the support of our legal team.
  • Managing budgets for influencer payments and managing gifting budgets.
  • Lead our community engagement strategy with the support of our Social Media & PR Coordinator and Customer Care team.
  • Reporting on marketing activity and KPIs around engagement, growth, customer sentiment and commercial performance – including spotting and reporting on key customer feedback themes
  • Forecast, create and update relevant budget lines, tracking invoices to ensure activity comes within budget

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • You will have proven experience of working within a creative organisation, where everyone is hands-on, and where the focus is on getting the job done.
  • You will possess a strong background in campaign planning and execution, alongside PR experience and working with agencies.
  • You will have a strong background in content marketing, social media, and working with influencers.
  • You are highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage a busy schedule.
  • You will be collaborative in your working style and possess strong communication/influencing skills to work with the different teams, and to drive alignment across the functions in support of the strategy.
  • You will have the ability and confidence to liaise with people from all over the business (up to director level) and external suppliers and agencies. Plus, the capability to mentor and direct more junior members of the team.
  • You will have proven experience of multitasking and leading multiple projects, with the ability to analyse the ROI and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, retail environment is desired.
  • Experience managing up to 2 direct reports is ideal.
  • Confidence with budgeting, forecasting and tracking invoices.
  • Proficient knowledge of social media channels and publishing and reporting platforms.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

WHAT WE’LL OFFER YOU:

As a Senior Campaigns & PR Manager at White Stuff you will be entitled to an array of great benefits, some of which include:

  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Up to 33 days holiday per annum
  • 2 extra (paid!) days off per year to volunteer in the local community
  • 50% discount
  • Subsidised BUPA Dental Insurance
  • Healthcare cash plan and Life Assurance
  • Interest free season ticket loan
  • Pension Contribution

We are committed to creating an environment where we can all be proud to work and be ourselves. Part of this commitment is being an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, and age.
