Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Senior Childcare Lawyer rot join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.
ROLE: Senior Childcare Lawyer

LOCATION: South East London
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension
RATE: £50.00 to £60.00 per hour
Please note that this role would require office attendance a minimum of 2 days per week.
The Role of The Childcare Lawyer
- To manage a personal caseload of Children's Safeguarding matters through to completion
- To hold a mixed caseload of care proceedings and pre-proceedings
- To manage a small team of Lawyers and Paralegal
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE
- Experience in dealing with public childcare law cases through to completion
- Previous managerial experience within a public organisation would be essential
