Out client operates in over 40 countries with over 20GW of total clean energy production capacity world wide with a global target to reach 100GW by 2030. </p><p><br></p><p>Due to expansion within their battery storage arm, they are now seeking a Senior Civil Engineer who can lead the civil aspect of projects from concept design within the development stage, through construction and to commissioning stage. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver technical support on various civil grid route related matters such as grid connection and basic civil design of renewable energy plants</li><li>Screening and due diligence of projects at various project phases relating to civil aspects </li><li>Performing design work on projects during the development phase</li><li>Provide input into site layout including access roads, welfare and laydown areas, equipment positioning, base designs etc </li><li>Preparation of electrical related chapters in requests for proposal and tender documents </li><li>Review and provide feedback of tenders from Balance of Plant (BoP) and Technology providers</li><li>Review and comment on contractor civil design submissions </li><li>Advise in civil related CDM during design and construction phases</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering </li><li>Chartered engineer</li><li>Experience working as a Civil Engineer within battery storage or gas peaking </li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in applying for this role, please send us your up to date CV or get in touch with Hannah on 01892 234999</p>
