That means unrivalled opportunities for career development, skill-growth, and a wealth of experience to draw from.What you'll be doing:Lead on complex supplier contract, operational and strategic reviews and negotiationsIdentify emerging risks and issues in relation to adequacy and effectiveness of existing controlsLead on commercial management and projects (e.g. continuous improvement, innovation led initiatives, supply chain collaboration, etc.),Work closely with the business to develop supplier contingency and exit plans for critical suppliersProvide issue resolution and mitigation solutions where business users are not meeting contractual targetsReport on supplier 360 degree performance including SLA’s / KPI’s, obligationsManage risk and compliance through effective project, contract, demand and supplier performance managementWhat you'll need:We're looking for somebody with experience in a commercial contract management role, with sound contract knowledge and a good grasp on principles of Category Management and Category Planning.You'll also have good understanding of Demand and Specification management techniques; including Value engineering and Right First Time, with a strong continuous improvement mindset.We need someone who's a great communicator, and will be able to build relationships and influence small and large groups.Ways of working:Our hybrid model way of working offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office-working, offering flexibility for everyone.
