An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Communications and PR/Media Specialist has arisen. Joining our global Communications team in London, this brand-new position will be integral in providing external, internal, community, and government engagement support.
The role will cover many areas of communications including developing communications plans for in country teams, writing, and developing strong media strategies to support the company’s overall business objectives.
We’re looking for someone who is a dynamic communications professional with the ability to showcase the company’s success to both key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing Communications Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive, engaging and reactive communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives and values.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and manage media inquiries effectively.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and informative content for press releases, articles, social media and other communications platforms to promote the company's initiative and achievements.
  • Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to address potential issues promptly and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors and government agencies to foster positive relationships and collaboration.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate corporate events, press conferences and industry conferences to showcase company’s achievements and initiatives.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and industry trends, conduct analysis and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-drive recommendation for improvement.

Profile
  • A strong background in communications, with the opportunity to leverage other skills including media, content creation, public relations and events.
  • A bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline/field such as public relations, digital communications or journalism is preferred.
  • Understanding of green energy industries is ideal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.

As they grow rapidly, they are on the lookout for a talented Purchasing Officer who will own and facilitate the purchasing p rocess for our products and programs.

You will be a key player in ensuring timely available of and access to materials needed by our engineers and build teams working on our product programs. You will do this by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including build and test, engineering, and project management, to drive effective and timely purchasing

You will take accountability of the following areas:

Procurement and Expediting :

    • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, ordering, and receiving materials.
    • Vendor Onboarding and tracking of onboarding process.
    • Expedite and track all materials required for the Project in a time critical manner.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Ensure all shipping and transport documentation from suppliers are available to meet procurement guidelines.
Warehousing and Logistics :
    • Raise TRF for urgent materials.
    • Ensure all materials tracked to delivery are physically receipted and provided a storage location.
    • Coordinate with the Logistics team for timely delivery of materials to the site.
Materials Tracking and Reporting :
  • Track the movement of materials from procurement to delivery.
  • Generate reports on Purchase order confirmation, expediting, and delivery status.
  • Identify any discrepancies or issues and take corrective actions.
Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work closely with other departments (such as build and test, supply chain, and finance) to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics function.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

About you:
  • Previous experience in purchasing and expediting in a project or workshop setting
  • Strong MS office and SAP skills required
