A dynamic investment manager based in London, managing a diverse portfolio of listed VCTs and investment trusts, is seeking a Senior Company Secretarial Manager to join it team, in this newly-created position. The successful candidate, will play a pivotal role in ensuring company compliance and administration across its managed funds, collaborate closely with the cosec team to uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, as well as oversee the work of and upskill junior members of the team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of Company Secretarial services for listed VCTs and Investment Trusts.
  • Support board and committee functions, including drafting agendas, creating board packs, attending and minuting meetings, and following up on post-meeting actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all LSE requirements, including listing, statutory, and regulatory obligations, as well as compliance with MAR.
  • Offer advice and guidance on UK corporate governance best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, facilitating their career development.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in asset management, working with listed funds.
  • People management experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience using CoSec software such as Diligent and Board Intelligence.
