Hatched Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Senior Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer for Regulated Service & Resources in the Tower Hamlets area. 3 - 6 months contract.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Senior Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for taking a proactive approach in overseeing Ofsted registration of supported accommodation providers as per The Supported Accommodation Regulation 2023.
• The role will require monitoring and improving the standards of homes for children and young people by undertaking quality assurance visits and ensuring all supported accommodation providers we use are Ofsted Registered as per the above regulation.
• The post holder will ensure the highest quality of service delivery in terms of care, support, and health & safety within the homes our children reside in, meeting Ofsted's minimum quality standards.
• The post holder will contribute to ensuring placement stability for children in our care, as well as ensuring all homes providers' compliance documents and policies are gathered, reviewed, and kept securely.

Knowledge:

1. Working knowledge of the framework within which social care operates, inclusive of legislation and national guidance and procedures specific to this post.
2. Extensive experience in a regulatory or quality assurance role within children's services.
3. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices pertaining to homes for children looked after.
4. Demonstrable ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams to achieve high standards of performance.
5. Experience in monitoring and tracking providers' compliance with Ofsted registration and inspection.
