We are currently working with one of our Management Consultancy clients on a Senior Compliance Consultant contract, with expressed interest of the ideal candidate coming from the Insurance sector.

Job Description/Requirements

  • 7-10 years+ experience within the retail insurance industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in at least two of either; financial crime, complaints handling and claims handling, or insurance product governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICOB's, with a working knowledge of DISP, PROD and MLRs.
  • Deep knowledge of retail insurance products their utilisation and risks associated with the manufacture and distribution of each.
  • Possess the ability to communicate and work with mid to senior level staff at a large regulated insurance company - CCO's, Head of Compliance, etc.
  • Broad expertise in analysing, improving and operating compliance and risk frameworks for larger insurance firms.
  • Experience working in and/or with complex multi jurisdictional entities
  • Ideally having worked in an assurance/monitoring/review capacity with significant experience of conducting reviews of regulated insurance products.
  • Experience working with firms who have appointed representatives would be preferred, but not essential.

  • Presence: Predominantly WFH, with occasional on-site visits
  • Day rate: TBC
