Department overview:
Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) delivers enterprise risk solutions to some of the largest firms in the financial services industry, and is part of S&P Global, a dynamic entrepreneurial company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
FRA is currently investing in their technology platform to develop a number of new revenue generating products, leveraging open source and big data technologies. These include visualisation, risk aggregation and smart data initiatives that address new data, risk and regulatory requirements and are highly visible and strategic within the organisation. FRA also uses successful conventional technologies such as distributed computing based on grids, large data formats, and message queue for both batch and real-time what-if type calculations.
These initiatives are using best of breed technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, HBase, Cassandra along with in-house developed technologies, and the successful candidate will be working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment, building commercial products which are at the heart of the business.
The Client Onboarding, Integration and Support Services team is responsible for delivering our solutions to our clients, from pre-sales through to go-live.
Position summary:
This position is for a London-based Senior Consultant running FRA client projects across EMEA. In addition to the detailed job description below, client relationship management is an important requirement of the role. Ensuring a high level of satisfaction through effective management of client needs is a core part of consulting in FRA.
