Senior Corporate Communications Manager – Global Supplier £65,000-80,000
An innovative and differentiated global leader, in sustainable polymer solutions are looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to join the team. The Group is one of the world’s foremost suppliers of water-based polymers and has leadership positions in many markets. The successful candidate will cover key industries such as coatings, construction, adhesives, textiles, paper and nitrile medical gloves. Our client has grown its global manufacturing network, expanded its product portfolio and boosted its geographical presence, allowing it to better serve over 6000 customers around the world.
The Corporate Communications Director will:
lead the development and execution of a communications strategy to consolidate global communication
Raise standards across all external forms of media and maximise their effectiveness
The role will report into the President, Corporate Development
Work closely with Group leaders to drive initiatives that generate value by providing the organisation with competitive advantage and by meeting stakeholder requirements.
Our client is in the process of updating their corporate strategy, renewing their external website and raising their profile on social media platforms. This will require a consistent communication standard to be applied to drive value through the external profile of the company and to ensure that the standard meets that expected of a £2.8bn enterprise operating globally.
Role accountabilities:
Work with leaders across the business globally at multiple levels to ensure targets and vision align with the corporate objectives
Responsible for the development and execution of external company communication strategies
Providing the organisation with competitive advantage, meeting stakeholder requirements and meeting legal obligations related to Corporate Communications
Raise the profile of high quality communications in all aspects of the Business
Develop, implement and improve communications to maximize the effectiveness of global communications
Work with key stakeholders to influence and implement consistent standards of external communication
Participate in the project to renew the Group website in order to identify benefits in Corporate Communication
Develop and implement the standards for all forms of communication to include trade shows, brochures, internet, social media etc
What you’ll need to be successful…
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within external communications management position
Previous B2B experience essential, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector, Chemical industry experience big plus
Professional gravitas, assertive and confident with a high level of personal and professional credibility, presenting to, senior stakeholders
Strong cultural awareness, adaptability and confidence to operate across geographic regions
Exceptional writing skills, strong project management and interpersonal skills
