We are partnered with one of the UK's most exciting, data-driven insurance companies who impact global markets, and they are looking for a Senior Data & Process Analyst to maximise the value of data for stakeholders across the business.
The role...
Being a senior member of the team, you will act as the bridge between data and the rest of the business. This role will suit you if you have experience working with small and large-scale data transformation projects in the Insurance sector.
What you'll be doing...
- You will manage 6 team members and identify improvements to ways of working and processes, whilst promoting the values within the Data Engagement team.
- You will share the capabilities and tools of the Data team with stakeholders to help them improve processes and make better decisions.
- You will work with stakeholders to define, document, prioritise business requirements.
- You will be the expert for specific datasets and have the ability to interrogate this data to support reporting requirements.
- You will ensure that the various functions in the Data team are engaged as necessary to deliver required business outcomes and strategic goals.
- You will provide support and development to junior members of the Data Engagement team where appropriate; onboarding new team members.
What they are looking for...
- A passion for using data and technology to drive decision-making.
- Experience working in the Insurance sector, preferably London Market.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate and work with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Good knowledge of SQL is required and knowledge of data modelling concepts and data management techniques are advantageous.
- Skills in implementing reports / analytics will be desirable.
- Knowledge of AWS and Snowflake desirable.
