Leaders in Care UK has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Dialysis Nurse to join one of our client's clinics in Ulverston, Cumbria. This full-time dialysis nursing role and comes with a salary of up to £41,000 (depending on dialysis experience).
As a dedicated Senior Dialysis Nurse, you will provide patient care and aim to improve quality of life for patients. A comprehensive training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training and e-learning. Working hours for this full time position are from Monday to Saturday with flexible shifts between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (no nights or Sunday working).
Here are some of the Duties expected in the Senior Nurse Role:
Taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients
Performing patient assessments throughout treatment, ensuring the best care is provided at all times
Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems
Reviewing pre-and post-haemodialysis care with patients
Participating in quality and service improvement programmes
To apply for this Senior Dialysis Nurse role, you will need 2+ years of experience in a renal dialysis setting. You also must be a Registered General Nurse and in possession of or working towards a post-registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent). Ideally, you will have a Mentorship/Teaching qualification and be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team.
In return for your dedication, you will receive a salary of up to £41,000 and the following benefits:
Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours
35 days of holiday (inclusive of 8 days of bank holidays), increasing with service
