Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Digital Strategy and Operations Manager in atai’s rapidly growing Digital Product & Data function (“DPD”). DPD sits across the Strategy & Innovation and R&D areas of the company and works with atai’s underlying technology and compound companies to support the creation of digital product and pursue our data science strategy to innovate and personalize how mental health is delivered. Our current area of focus is developing our proprietary Digital Therapeutics (“DTx”) for use in combination with our drugs. Beyond this we are also looking at decentralized trial tools, clinician training and other innovative ways to bring personalized and scalable mental care to patients.

As Senior Digital Strategy and Operations Manager you will be responsible for setting atai’s overall Digital Product & Data strategy. You will be highly attuned to atai’s objectives and will identify the optimal areas for us to deploy digital solutions in order to heal mental health for everyone, everywhere. You will have a strong understanding of the healthcare technology space, and the key areas we need to consider as we operationalize the strategy including product management, regulatory, reimbursement, new technology advancements and data analytics.

This is a highly entrepreneurial and high-profile role for someone with a broad skillset to define the digital direction of a high growth and innovative biotechnology company. You will be a strong team player and be passionate about delivering innovative, scalable mental health to millions.

Responsibilities:

Creating the long-term strategy for the DPD team by identifying where we can most effectively deploy digital solutions to achieve atai’s objectives and prioritizing these based on impact and resource. Solutions will include digital therapeutics, clinical trial tools, in silico drug discovery, therapist training and data analytics

Working with the Product Management group and atai’s platform companies to implement the strategy

Analyze and understand current market trends that will impact the strategy and its implementation including technology advancements, regulatory, reimbursement, policy and patient / consumer culture

Defining the roadmap to achieving our strategy including recommending buy versus build decisions. Working closely with our Venture Management and Business Development functions on any digital partnerships and acquisitions, from due diligence to integration

Supporting our technology platform companies on their individual strategies including budgeting and fund raising

Remain highly aware of competitor activity, and foster relationships in the biopharmaceutical and digital space to spread best practice and ensure Atai remains a pioneer in the space.

Experience / Qualifications:

You graduated from a top-tier university with an excellent academic record

You have 6+ years of working in the life science and / or healthcare technology space

You have a solid grounding in strategy, having spent time in a top tier strategy consulting firm, private equity or operated within such a role in industry

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

You have experience or an appreciation of the biopharmaceutical space, especially compound progress through clinical trial validation

You have experience or an appreciation for product management, and a passion to fit a product to clinicians and patient priority needs

You have a keen interest in data analytics and how we can use atai’s insight generation across its various business areas to drive our proposition

You enjoy getting your hands dirty and operationalizing your recommendations; you relish the challenge of working cross functionally and cross geographically to get the job done.

Interview Timetable
