The Senior Director, Global Counsel will assist the General Counsel with strategic legal decisions and support the regulatory and compliance function. This role will have direct reports and will be tasked with overseeing operations in various jurisdictions. This role will be based out of England or Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and develop legal strategy for International Operations outside the US
- Support strategic transactions and corporate governance matters
- Oversee and advise with respect to disputes relating to transactions, specifically with distributors, suppliers, and vendors
- Provide leadership on complex legal matters across employment, commercialization, privacy, and marketing.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience.
- Admitted to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction
- Experience with US Public Companies and FCPA matters
- Experience with Strategic and Business Development Transactions
- In-House experience with a Life Sciences/Technology Industry
