Senior Ecologist

Location: Brighton

Salary: £32,000-£42,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join an established consultancy practice in Brighton.

You'd be working with one of the UK's leading practices who work extensively throughout the South East. They have developed a fantastic mix of multidisciplinary expertise in masterplanning, environmental assessment, urban design, landscape, ecology, and arboriculture.

Requirements:

1. Degree level or equivalent qualification in Ecology or a related field.
2. Good knowledge of survey techniques and wildlife legislation.
3. Experience of advising clients on biodiversity net gain is preferable.

Responsibilities:

1. Report writing including PEAs, EIAs, HRAs, and habitat management plans.
2. Client liaison and advice.
3. Protected species surveys including bat, badger, and GCN.
