The company specializes in the development Convertors, Motors, Controllers, and other specialist equipment for a variety of industries. They offer hybrid WFH and offer engineers the opportunity to grow and develop within a leading business.
Senior Electronics Engineer - ACDC - (Negotiable)
Senior Electronics Engineer - DCDC - (Negotiable)
Hybrid WFH - Varied Norfolk
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 37 hours per week
Key Skills & Experience:
- Simulation experience
- CAD Software (Preferred Altium)
- Firmware understanding
- Current & Voltage Design
- AC / DC Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the lead electronics engineer with project timelines, budgets, and resource
- Liaising with firmware team to ensure that company coding standards are adhered to and that resources are aligned to deliver project functional requirements
- Designing AC/DC converters, with the application of battery charging to a written specification
- Taking design from concept schematic through to release for manufacture/certification using the company processes
- Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations
- Supporting test engineers to carry out testing where required
- Ensure company standards are met for hardware designs, both regulatory & practice, both in designs and design methodology
- Power electronics development aspects of AC/DC converters and their application to battery charging and integration into motor controllers
- Ensure deliverables are met in accordance with the project plans, assessing resources required to complete work packages, communicating any problems / updates to leadership team
