Fabricator 0800 - 1600 Mon to Fri £24,664.56 per annum with a salary review after probationary period This is a Permanent role with a fantastic company As a Senior Fabricator, you will have extensive knowledge of production processes and will be able to set up/programme and carry out diagnostics. You will be required to train other operators to required standards. Help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Able to work on many/all areas of the production process with little supervision

Duties and responsibilities;

Setting up all plant and machinery to works order in advance of operator becoming free Check roots, work instructions and SOPs are available and correct Ensure operators are trained and risk assessed before embarking on task Ensure operators are competent in all tasks Ensure 1 st

off is correct and sign off works order Ensure all instructions and tools are available for operators to make good parts Ensure operator knows time to complete task Ensure operator clocks onto the task correctly Return to operator after planned time period to sign off last off Report any issues and reasons why operators could not complete works order to correct time and required quality Operate production equipment Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and the machines Report equipment faults to maintenance staff Ensure parts are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications Contribute to continuous improvement Train/mentor less experienced operators

Person Specification Ability to work across all areas of the production process Able to work as part of a team Able to train operators Able to work on own initiative when necessary Able to work in a safe manner Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work standards An eye for detail Able to work with minimum supervision and to timescales Ability to learn quickly Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality Automotive / Aerospace experience
