Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor / Lawyer to join one of the most progressive, dynamic and forward-thinking law firms in Truro, working within the firm's successful Family department. The ideal candidate will have circa 6+ years' PQE working within family law, with a lean towards divorce or finance. We are ideally after someone who is commercially aware and who can be a positive ambassador for the firm. Tasks include:
- Advising clients on a range of financial issues following their separation or marital breakdown
- Representing clients through the financial remedy process
- Advising in relation to the divorce process, including with their properties, maintenance claims and pension divisions
- Dealing with high-net-worth family finance cases
Skills and experience required:
- 6/7+ PQE
- Self-motivated with a desire to help progress the department
- Excellent communication skills and client care skills
- Experience working within a medium to large firm within a busy working environment desired
