- Built a good working relationship with key business partners and the wider finance teams

Responsibilities of the role
- Partner with the DAX teams to deliver their short- and longer-term business targets and objectives
- As a key contact between the business and the finance team, you'll spend significant time building relationships and providing support to management, identifying new ways to communicate performance, and providing financial planning & commercial analytical support.
- Ownership of the full DAX P&L and headcount for all financial cycles including budget, forecasts and month end ensuring timely delivery with commentary and analysis. Assist with financials for Shareholder and Board reports and daily trading updates as required.
- Leading on the production of financial reporting with the aim to identify and implement efficiencies.
- Produce and develop robust financial models, challenging assumptions alongside generating insightful analysis and reporting on KPI's.
- Develop an in depth understanding of Global assets and bring in depth understanding to any decision making.
- Constantly challenge how things are done and look for new ways to support the business to achieve excellence in its financial performance.
- Contribute towards the production of insightful financial presentations for a range of senior partners
- Maintain high levels of financial management and controls to support your business area and the group overall.
- Embrace new technology and minimise manual processes. Challenge the status quo to strive for efficiencies and better ways of working.
- Lead and participate in key projects, business reviews and deal appraisals for your area.
- A strong focus on the development of early careers employees within the team.
What you will need
The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:
- A proven ability to build relationships and work as a business partner within a company, demonstrating confidence, strong influencing skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
- You'll need to be a lateral thinker who can solve problems and deliver solutions to the business, whilst at the same time ensuring we stick to the rules and audit requirements are met.
- Qualified ACA accountant (or equivalent) commercial experience; media experience preferable but not essential
