Role: Senior Finance Analyst – Marketing & Events Agency

Paying circa £55,000 – 60,000 + bonus & benefits

Based in London offering flexible hybrid working


TalentEdge are currently partnering with an incredibly exciting high growth marketing & events agency who are currently looking to recruit a qualified Senior Finance Analyst to join the team during this truly exciting growth period.


This is the perfect opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is keen to take the next step in the career in an incredibly hands on role with commercial, operational and strategic responsibilities as well as excellent exposure to senior business stakeholders.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Complete month-end management accounts, automate processes, and implement financial controls
  • Working with large data sets to extract and identify trends and business growth areas
  • Identify, report, and analyse key financial data with recommendations
  • Review daily/weekly performance and present monthly financial performance
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support business to maximize sales and profitability
  • Perform monthly revenue reforecasting using actual data
  • Reconcile systems for accurate revenue and cost information
  • Conduct user testing for accurate financial information across systems
  • Ensure appropriate accounting and settlement with vendors
  • Report Partnership KPIs and financial information with support from account managers
  • Assist operational business teams in tracking KPIs and providing recommendations
  • Review financial performance for accuracy and identify profitability opportunities
  • Review quarterly VAT Returns to ensure correct treatment for sales and purchases


Experience Required:

  • Newly /Recently Qualified ACA OR CIMA/ACCA
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to be hands-on whilst also operating as a strategic thinker
  • A proven business partner with a track record of working with various levels of stakeholder
  • Commercially astute and analytical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with ability to plan and execute tasks unsupervised
  • Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
