Ensure correct posting and reconciliations of Payroll, COS and prepayments journals across multiple entitiesFull reconciliation of GL codes on a monthly basisInitial presentation of draft P&L and Balance sheet for each entity to Financial Controller for review ahead of group consolidationReview to include controls on P&L, Margin, Accruals, Balance sheet for each entitySupport and reconciliation of Sales Tax/GST/VAT submissions and paymentsOther Ad hoc tasks required to deliver a timely month endPreparation and support for year-end accounts and AuditInputs into statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for UK companies as requiredAs senior finance role in Tankersley office, as part of matrix management, to assume local leadership (supervisory) for teams with non-local line managementSupport the integration and accounting for new acquisitions, as requiredVarious ‘ad-hoc’ tasks for example UAT testing of system upgradesSkills, Knowledge and Experience:EssentialQualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)Ability to use Excel to an advanced levelProven working experience in accounting including Financial AccountsHighly numerateExcellent communications skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholdersBusiness acumen and the ability to understand the impact of business change on financial accounts (vice versa)Ability to listen to and take other’s points of view on boardSelf-sufficient with the ability to quality check and review own workingsDesirable GraduateFamiliar or confident working in a matrix organisationPrevious exposure to US trading and understanding of US Sales TaxCompany InfoKerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is the market leader in developing and delivering fully integrated business management solutions for distributors, suppliers, resellers, wholesalers and merchants.
