Senior Finance Manager Job In Manchester

Forge Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing FMCG business that specialises in the retail space, working with some household brands. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Finance Manager based in Manchester City Centre to support the Financial Controller in what is a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Controller with internal and external reporting

• Ensure the financial policies and procedures are constantly adhered to

• Internal management reporting and external statutory reporting

• Ensure month-end procedures and timelines are adhered to

• Be the primary lead for the external audit

• Assist on ad-hoc projects within the finance team

• Manage and complete plastic tax, PSA and P11D submissions

• Manage the process of monthly payroll

• Constantly review processes and procedures

• Manage two direct reports

Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or finalist

• 3+ years in a similar role

• Advanced Excel skills, SAGE 200 or similar accounting software experience

• Commercially focused

• The ability to work under pressure and work in a very fast-paced environment
