This FTSE Retailer are recruiting a Senior Finance Manager on an initial 12 month contract. In this role, you will lead various teams within Record to Report, engaging with key partners up to Finance Director level. You'll have the opportunity to communicate with and influence senior business partners on outputs and results. With a number of direct and indirect reports, you'll play a pivotal role in driving excellence and innovation within the finance function.

- Leadership of all reporting and accounting requirements for the two business units commercial finance and FP&A teams.
- Strong Business Partner engagement across multiple teams to facilitate collaborative working
- Leadership and development of Record to Report team including part qualified & qualified accountants
- Lead in the delivery of roles across revenue and margin, commercial, stock and working capital accounting for the business units
- Develop team to instill a profit mindset to improve business performance, optimize spend, minimize costs and drive profit/growth
- Delivery of balance sheet reconciliations within group close timetable to high standard on a monthly basis
- Ensure adherence to robust control framework in the R2R area
- Drive strong accountability for operating agreed controls across the balance sheet accounts, reconciliation of key control accounts across responsible areas, delivery of Internal/External audit recommendations in relation to areas of accountability.
- Lead the team to support the business transformation with the delivery and execution of key projects using standard processes and automation.
- Active member of the wider leadership team, owning key transformation focus areas.
About you...
- Qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience
- Have proven strong leadership experience
- Has previous experience leading a team within a complex, fast moving environment
- Ability to juggle multiple and ever changing priorities
- Experience working with a large ERP system - SAP preferred
