Vacancy Ref: CK1375386 - Senior Fire Engineer
Location: Manchester or London (Hybrid/Flexible working)
Salary: £60-90k + benefits
Are you a fire engineer with a passion for providing safe and secure environments? Do you have experience of providing fire and façade engineering solutions? We are seeking an experienced fire engineer to join our dynamic façade and engineering team. This is an exciting chance to be at the forefront of the industry, providing expert advice, guidance, and solutions to clients in order to ensure fire safety compliance and mitigate fire risk. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly skilled professionals and to work on a range of fire safety projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting site inspections
- Reviewing fire risk assessments
- Interpreting data collated through external wall investigations
- Assessing the applicability of relevant statutes, guidance, best practice, and codes of practice to each building
- Delivering holistic reviews of fire safety and suggesting changes to fire strategy, interim measures, mitigations, and proposed remediation actions
To be successful, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in fire engineering, preferably in the construction industry
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- A good understanding of current fire safety legislation, codes of practice, and guidance
- Knowledge and experience of building fire safety systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- The ability to make effective decisions
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment

Location:
The office locations are in London and Manchester, however our client offers a hybrid combination of in-office and remote working. The role will require site inspections and meetings, so if you are based anywhere between Manchester and London, we want to hear from you.
