Senior Frontend Developer - React - Bristol or Remote Upto 85k DOE Bristol twice a month for planning meetings ideally React, React Native, Node, AWS, Express, Redis, MongoDB, TDD, Agile... You'll be joining a team of 25 as one of 3 remaining hires to make immediately, with 5 tech roles also hired recently. Spearheaded by a talented and award nominated female advocate for diversity in tech leading their product strategy, you'll be joining at an exciting time! About The Role - Lead Frontend Developer - React You'll be joining as a Lead Frontend Developer in a diverse (in tech, ages and much more), open minded and supportive team happy for you to play to your strengths, learn new things, work across teams etc. They love to have a laugh and regularly get together either remotely or in person. There's a sophisticated, multifaceted, but equally as simple mobile & a web application with technologies like React, React Native, Node, AWS Serverless, Hapi, Express, Docker, Socket.io, Redis, MongoDB... they won't limit you to just frontend if you'd like to learn more! You'll be working on greenfield projects developing new features and functionality for their platforms as part of their continued roadmap to take their tech to the next level. As well as this, you'll be helping to maintain current work as well as refactor/migrate old architecture from their initial monolithic platform over to their new tech. There's currently 2 cross-functional development squads of 6 developers each of different levels and roles including mobile, fullstack, frontend, backend, infrastructure and more. With 2 at lead level and another who's recently moved from lead frontend developer in to the head of engineering role, there's still more room for seniors & leads to have an impact now or in the future. Ideally you'll be coming in to take over the role of frontend lead with a growing but small team of developers, or you'd be someone keen to grow in to this in the near future. You'll be a hands on lead developer and will taking ownership of frontend development in the company and leading the way for more junior frontend developers.
