Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer based in the Central Belt of Scotland to join our development team in delivering scalable and optimised software platforms for our clients and in-house projects. If you enjoy learning new technologies (even just for fun - I know we are crazy that way), and be comfortable working across multiple projects, then this full-time position will offer significant opportunities for personal/professional development.

Required/Essential Skills
- 5 years of commercial experience with JavaScript Frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React)
- Proficient use of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS (SCSS)
- Interest in UI/UX, creating a consistent design and responsive user experiences across multiple devices
- Experience in integrating Single Page Applications with REST backends/services
- Good understanding of common design patterns and data structures
- Excel in writing clean and maintainable code, following standards, and guidelines
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (version control, tooling, testing, etc.)
Optional/Beneficial Skills
- Working knowledge/experience of Vue.js frontend framework
- Good understanding of cross-browser frontend development
- Working knowledge of accessibility (e.g. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG)
- Experience in setting up/using build tools (e.g. webpack, rollup)
- Experience in setting up/using linting tools (e.g eslint, prettier)
- Working knowledge/experience in writing automated tests
- Interest in hybrid mobile development frameworks (e.g. Ionic Framework/Capacitor)
- Willingness/desire to continuously learn new technologies/techniques
