<div><p><strong>About Noon:</strong></p><p>Noons mission is to radically change the way people learn. We want to run a network of schools taught by a network of top teachers in the Middle East region, and to accomplish this we need to build new technology that enables top teachers to effectively teach our students even if they are not physically present at the school.<br/></p><p>We come from diverse backgrounds and work across four timezones. At the same time we recognize that small teams sitting together can move a lot faster than those that work remotely, and hence were building up our engineering presence in our London office.<br/></p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><p>As part of the engineering team, youll work across our entire tech stack.TypeScript, React (&Native), Next and backendare written in Java, spring boot on top of a REST API and MySql and Kafka. You will team up with fellow engineers and cross-functional partners in product, design, and business to define your goals, and work together to achieve them. Your success will not be measured in terms of the output - numbers of pull requests and lines of code written, but rather, in terms of what those changes in software achieve for our students and teachers.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>Were looking for proactive problem solvers who want to work across our whole tech stack. You could be a seasoned full-stack engineer looking for interesting products to build, or someone looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. You are self-motivated and can work independently. You have good product sense and can create experiences that are not just functional but fun (remember, were building for teenagers!). You have a growth mindset and desire to learn new things and to help others learn too.<br/></p><p><strong>Ideally, you have:</strong></p><ul><li>5 years experience in frontend development with consumer products Or building frontend for an interactive web app using React, React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript.</li><li>Experience building consumer-facing mobile products.</li><li>Experience with React Native stack and front-end testing frameworks.</li><li>We look for openness to work across the stack to build the product.
