Role Description for the Senior Functional Analyst:
We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to play a key role in driving transformative changes within our client’s Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. In this position, you will lead efforts to enhance the functionality and efficiency of our EBS modules, particularly focusing on optimising data upload procedures for Large Volume Journals.
- Analyse current EBS journal upload features, with a focus on Large Volume Journals, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges related to high-volume Excel uploads to EBS.
- Design and propose solutions to enhance upload efficiency and scalability for large datasets.
- Work closely with technical teams to implement and test improvements for seamless EBS integration.
- Refine validation processes for journal uploads to meet performance and business requirements.
- Document functional specifications for EBS journal upload enhancements.
- Support end-to-end data loading in EBS, ensuring data integrity and optimal system performance.
- Provide expertise on EBS Financials modules and related data management.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
- Strong understanding of EBS data upload processes and techniques for performance optimisation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed analysis, design effective solutions, and oversee implementation and testing phases.
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and effective stakeholder communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle EBS certification or relevant professional certifications.
- Previous experience in performance tuning and optimization of EBS applications, specifically related to journal uploads.
- Familiarity with Excel integration and data migration processes within Oracle EBS.
