Job Description
Senior Functional Consultants are responsible for the successful delivery of our projects. This involves working closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and translating those to the Salesforce platform to the highest technical standards. Senior Consultants are engaged throughout the project lifecycle and their responsibilities run from strategy, design, and configuration through to integration, testing, and deployment not forgetting the successful management of team and client relationships. All of our consultants are certified Salesforce Consultants with a proven track record of delivering successful implementations in a client-facing environment.
Job Overview
- Facilitate Workshops: Gather business requirements from key stakeholders (Business Analysis)
- Document Requirements: Provide a detailed write-up of the project scope, requirements, and definitions of success (Business Requirements Specification)
- Technical Governance and Estimation: Reviewing project scope, design, and estimates
- Manage projects: Includes coordinating the project team to ensure the project remains on track, within scope and budget
- Customer Success: Manage client relationships and provide support throughout the change process
- Technical Expertise: Continual Professional Development, continually improving personal Salesforce knowledge by keeping up to date with the latest releases and gaining further certifications and qualifications
- Leadership ability: lead by example, actively develop own technical skills, and convey knowledge to the team; help the team bring ideas to life and display innovative thinking
Candidates will be required to:
- Design and build solutions for large projects
- Work on a portfolio of projects that could significantly vary in budget and complexity
- Actively push to complete projects with the highest technical standards, and motivate others to do the same
- Gather requirements, understand briefs, and scope projects effectively
- Produce business and design specification documents and effectively communicate these to all internal and
external stakeholders - Ensure the expectations of all stakeholders are managed
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular close contact which will include regular face-to-face meetings, telephone, email, and other written communication
Job Requirements
- Experience in handling multiple projects across a variety of disciplines at any one time
- Experience in managing the design processes from start to finish
- Knowledge of key technologies and their applications
- The ability to translate technical or conceptual information into plain English for clients to understand
- A good understanding of what is required at every stage throughout the project life cycle
- Ability to quickly understand the client, their products, environment, and their industry
- Ability to follow quality assurance and operational processes
- Proficiency with the ETL process and familiarity with the main tools
- 3-5 years of project delivery experience
- ADM201 certified + at least three core Salesforce Certifications (Sales, Service, FSL, CPQ, Marketing, Communities, etc) on joining the company. There is an expectation for internal candidates of seven Certifications
