Please note that this is a hybrid-working vacancy based from one of our UK offices - https://www.slrconsulting.com/eur/about/locations SLR has a busy, well established Land Quality and Remediation team. Due to ongoing commercial success and a busy forward order book, we are looking to expand our team in the UK with the appointment of a geo-environmental project manager to one of our key offices. The Land Quality team undertakes a wide range of site assessment/investigation and associated reporting for a diverse range of clients and you will get to manage bids, projects, fieldwork and data and lead the preparation of subsequent reports to provide advice to clients in this role. The role Working under the guidance of experienced project directors in the team, you will get to manage a range of Geo-environmental assessments and site investigations; along with data manipulation, risk assessment, and report preparation. • Developing commercial bids and proposals in response to identified opportunities • Managing projects, including field work/laboratory programmes • Organising site investigation/laboratory testing services in advance of field works • Developing health and safety plans to cover identified work tasks • Managing client relationships • Data interpretation and soil/groundwater risk assessment • Preparing technical reports, including data interpretation • Developing strong client relationships About us SLR are global leaders in environmental and advisory solutions helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals. About You We envisage that you will have a track record in the management of geo-environmental projects with the following: • Degree, or equivalent qualifications in a geoscience or appropriate engineering subject • Technical experience in commercial bid/proposal drafting • Management of site investigations • Soil and groundwater risk assessment experience, where remedial options are considered and costed • Phase I and Phase II Assessments • Management of health and safety associated with site works • Multi-site and/or multi-discipline assessments • Interpretative and risk assessment report writing • Business development and client stewardship skills Please note that due to the requirement to carry out site visits, a full driving licence is essential for this position.
